Does anyone else find that when they open TS you get asked to sign in to DTG at least once a week?

I sign in, then after 3 or 4 days it asks again. Wondering if I shouldn’t just click don’t ask again, but not sure if that would screw up something down the road.

I never had to sign in before my complete re-install the other day (I'm talking over a period of 12 months roughly) but obviously I had to sign in the first time again then, but it did ask me last night again, must admit I thought it odd seeing as I already had.

Just launched the game again now to check and it was still signed in this time.

Isn't don't ask again basically to leave you permanently signed out though? So no in-game store (or news but hah, lol) and no workshop (again, hmmm)

Yes it is the same issue on TSW as well. In fact two days in a row I have had to sign in TSW. Not sure what has changed but it used to remember you for a least a few day before asking again.

Could it be affected by having other games or users on the computer? I just realised that I’m never asked to keep signing in on my laptop, which only has one Steam account and one game, but it only happens on the PC shared with my son (therefore two Steam accounts: I only have TS, he has several Steam games).

I'm the only person who uses this machine I'm on, and there's only ever one Steam sign in performed on it, so it's not that.

When you sign in I think it sets a Cookie on your computer.
If you use a program like CCleaner or clear out your Cookies at the end of day that would remove the sign in option
In CCLeaner there is an option to keep passwords

CCleaner? Is that still a thing? :)

Not cleared anything out for days, and I had to sign in yesterday. It's nothing I'm doing at this end that triggers this. I have nothing to automatically do anything here... except back up. Digital house keeping is something I do myself.

    Nothing ticked in your Browser?
As you will know there is an option to Clear Cookies when the Computer or Browser is shut down.
I don't have anything ticked and I have not signed in for ages - but then Firefox is set to Remember Passwords

I have not done any research, but it seems this may be related to networking - maybe IP address changes or machine re-booting. I signed in yesterday and today, after machine hibernation, was asked to sign in again. Just a minor irritation...

All computers in the house have static IP addresses assigned... can't be that.
