Can we have a person that we are simulating so we can see legs body rather than a camera lens ? This would make the game more real and like a simulator :) this would mean you could see yourself sat in the drivers seat and walking about. Other simulators have this first person design

Do you really think that this would be a worth the time to be added in? Let’s have some bug fixes instead

I agree. it would just be a waste of time if players could see their body in the cab as it could probably cause alot of problems. And not alot of us want that so let's just stick to the bug fixes first.

Isn't it already first person anyway.

It looks that way, until you look down and don't have any legs :D

I'd love to see it. Would add to the overall immersion.

You find being a floating ghost camera more immersive?

It’s a nightmare, really. You’d need animations for everything and there’d be a significant delay for any input. Let’s assume the “default” would be with the hands on the throttle and brake lever. How would you deal with safety systems? Acknowledging PZB/AWS/alerters/etc. now takes significantly longer since there has to be an animation for reaching over first - potentially making you too slow. And so on…
Having no animated body is a much simpler and far more elegant solution to this.

Waiting until my shift ends so that I only have 3 more nights left for the week.
