So here I was this morning having to decide what were the two routes to remove so I can "SHOEHORN" Great Western Express and East Coastway on the the PS5 (TSW3). Unlucky for Hamburg Lubeck and West Cornwall Local they were chosen to be removed. So eagerly I booted up TSW 3 and to my utmost disappointment after removing both the aforementioned routes only Great Western Express was showing in game. A quick check in the "manage downloads" section indeed showed that ECW was installed but not showing on the system. I totted up the total size of the current dlc for TSW 3 that was currently installed and the total came to 66.52gb (not including the core game & training center). The weird thing was the total of the DLC that I had before I removed Ham Lube and WCL was 66.96gb. Yet I had everything show up. So something had to go. Yes Munchen - Augsburg I am looking at you..... Then I thought hold on, I wonder if???? I thought if it doesn't work I can always put it back on again. I took off the 1938 stock (honestly Jasper_Rivet it may look as though I have something against Rivet games I don't lol). I booted TSW 3 up again and went into the Choose routes section and lo and behold ECW was there. So for the sake of a 158 meg piece of DLC ( and not a 3.58gb route) I managed to "SHOEHORN" East Coastway on the PS5 as well. The motto Size doesnt matter is wrong... SIZE Does Matter. Roll on the The DLC manager for the PS5. I think I can say for most if not all of the PS5 TSW 3 owners out there The DLC manager cant come Soon enough. Cheers Hentis
I concur with my right honourable friend Mr Hentis . It’s like we only l have half a game until this is sorted. Now I know what Sophie went through when she l had to make a choice
I had the same mental juggling match today. I had the sizes of all the DLC I had downloaded written on paper and trying to recall what I needed for layers, especially on new routes, and went through the list ditching routes left and right. I was doing it all with an already present thumping headache. Some of my favourite routes and locos are not downloaded at all because there just isn’t the space. Great entertainment for an afternoon.
