    Hi folks,

    I know this is some kind of "work in progress" but I've read here in the forums multiple times during my research (search function lol) that it WAS or IS possible (for PC) to resize HUD elements?
    I just play with the Time/Next-Destination part (upper left) and want it to be ... well half or 1/3 of the current size. Is there a way to do this by editing files or am I doomed to wait like anyone else that DTG adds more options for that in the settings menu?

    Thanks in advance!

    The HUD is completely for redone, (0-1 system all or nothing), I play HUDless style and it would be nice to separately enable the gradient meter (for freight) (and maybe some kind of speedometer/sensor - not much accurate lets say tens of km/h for SoS locos, the steam era drivers sens of speed was fed by velocity and we don't have it virtually). And there are some more things... BUT DTG obviously is biased by HUD-ers, players who drive mainly on the HUD, so they dont care about these details, they don't do proper testing (QA) for HUDless gameplay (and so, we end up with bed visibility from cabins, nonreadable dashboards, etc)

    The magic words are:

    [/Script/Engine.UserInterfaceSettings]
    ApplicationScale=0.500

    inserted into engine.ini. Replace 0.500 with whatever fraction you like, but that suits me on a 4k screen. The only minor niggle is that the helpful 'pointers' on training activities showing you where the controls are located get misplaced, so it can become a game of hunt the thimble (though I find I learn the controls better like that).

    Is there a way to hide the top left part of the hud, but keep other hud elements?

    Thanks Quentin !
    Appreciated!

    Those lines are a real gamechanger and the mystery on how to do it (until something official is implemented) is solved :)

    Hello and I do appreciate the "Magic Word" they did make hud elemets much smaller. But a side effect was that all menu items / train selection / timetable all were reduced, attached is my game home screen, my monitor is 4k "with a 3070 GPU if this makes any difference". I raised to 0.800 and everything looks better.
