Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel Wurzburg BR401 DB - Scenario - ICE Breaker In coming up on a red signal and tripping the Emergency Break I can't release it and still have the red box. Ive tried all sorts. Full brakes, resetting the brake key, resetting the master switch and removing the key, pressing a bunch of PZB/LZB resets but nothing. Any ideas or is this a bug?
Next to the brake guage on the right is a black button that reads "HLL Füllen". Pressing (or holding) it should refill the brake pipe to 5 bar and then the brakes release. That's what worked for me after a Sifa trip.
Thanks happyday#4085 yep that was it. Found a video from railsimulatordriver that showed the same. Confirmed works for both sifa and emergency brakes. I had tried that but I think by then I'd try so many other things I basically broke it! Oh well third time lucky!
i found myself breaking the 401 but i think in a different way. i was trying to run the route like a real engineer, getting off one train and getting on another. except the train that was brought back was the same one i left before, and somehow that caused the train to refuse to release the brakes no matter what i did. i had to exit and reload with the service i was going to do. annoying that i had to do that. it broke the immersion for me. yes i'm sure others would find standing in the same spot for an extended period boring, but that's how i like to play.
Then you leaved the train without the correct cab deactivation sequence to do. Press rear wall "Cab change" button, set reverser to 0 and remove it. Switch off brake key. Then leave.
Hello! My apologies but I'm new into this, and am experiencing the same situation right now and cannot resolve it by following your steps: which other thing I could be missing? The Reverser is on Neutral, Throttle and Brakes are on 0 but the brakes still seem to be blocked. Thanks in advance!
Looks like the throttle isn't OFF. German locos have a quirk where there is an extra step between OFF and when power starts being applied, but this still shows up as a 0 on the HUD.
