Intro Skyhook currently have 2 variants of the 158 in game, although one is tied to a route the other is standalone. I feel this could be transfered into a loco pack which contains multiple variants of the 158 that dovetail have the licencing for. Licencing/what's involved TFW An upcoming route that could include another 158 is the transport for Wales route, in our current times158s are becoming increasingly used in comparison go the older 150s which would make sense as an addition through this gameplay pack, this would also improve the routes timetable as well as improving areas like Birmingham new street when it eventually gets its much needed upgrade. Scotrail Existing but will be involved in this pack EMR modern I am unsure if the licencing will allow the modern EMR livery or if it will be suitable for the route (I'll leave this up for you guys to expand on for me) Northern 158 With the increase of northen routes on tsw with the upcoming airport commuter it would make sense to have a northern 158 as only seeing 323s (although they are amazing locos) is getting quite repetitive and boring and Manchester picadilly similarly to new street lacks diversity in what can be seen and this would assist with that Please add any others you can think of that would be suitable below Pricing Due to the effort that has to be put into this to create the liveries and add them into the timetables I feel the price of £25.99 gbp would be reasonable for this as it isn't quite creating a new route but a lot of workstill goes Into this, to make it more value for money scenarios related to theese locos could be added which I'll go into more detail about if interest is showed in this suggestion. Thank you for reading, I would be more than happy to hear your feedback and additions below. Rivet 170 livery pack This one is more controversial as there are diferent variants of the 170 which are yet to be included into the game however I feel the current 170 could be utilised a lot more that it currently is by creating g more variants and adding more timetables. Licences/what's involved Scotrail This is tied to Fife circle however appears in other Scottish routes as layers this is for thoose who want the appearance of the 170 without buying fife circle EMR As stated above I'm unaware if the 170 was operating at the time the current timetable is set however a brand new time table could be made. This would add variety to this route as there isn't many layers. WMR This would be a throwback to when 170s operated on the cross city line once again adding more variety to Birmingham new street and a change from all electric on this route. TFW This would increase the variety on dovetails upcoming route to make it more realistic and immersive. Pricing As mentioned above pricing for this would be £25.99 gbp considering all the effort that has to go into making the liveries and creating new timetables.
I don't know enough about this class to say for sure, but: The 158s would also need different interior Variations in the loco may be present between variants (as seen between SR and EMT) Loco DLCs retail for varying prices, but seems to be around £12.99 - so 4 in 1 may be unlikely. Perhaps though £20 for a pack containing both the Northern and TFW - slight discount as similar, but I don't want to underestimate/devalue the work to make them prototypical of their current operators. Scotrail could come in bundle instead of pack (see Steam for examples of TSW bundles (UK bundle for example containing (I think) SEHS, MML, 700, RHTT)), but personally I would feel those who already purchased separately (including myself) may feel aggrieved if it was included in the pack, making it better value for some - like how some sentiment was around the TSW5 packs including routes people owned already etc.
Rivet seem to model trains fairly well, so giving them a gardening-leave task of modifying their 170 into all different variants would offer them invaluable redemption points, and play to their strengths. A post on the TSW Facebook recently suggested a few versions, notably a WMR version for the BCC (as you suggest), a Southern version for BML and East Coastway (which would be 4 and 2 car versions) but also possible future work making the diverse Chiltern fleets.
