I have a few basic things I wish were in TSW3.

    1. Passenger improvements: passengers walk to their seats and interact with various in game objects (ticket machines, barriers)

    2. Player interactivity: Add a way of using ticket booths and the barriers. Allow toilets to be accessible in trains.

    3. Train improvements: have trains honk their horns at whistle boards

    4. Station improvements: when a train is arriving at a platform, there should be an announcement which gives it's information. Also if the player can see it they should be able to go there.

This will most likely not be added, I will eat my right shoe if they add all of this.

1 - these can be done with dioramas. DTG implemented them last year but didn't then expand on them for some reason

2 - not sure why a player would want to interact with a ticket machine but fine, this would necessitate a "ticket display" function also
2 - no to toilets. Don't need YouTube videos of people using toilets making DLC licenses harder to get

3 - this isn't as easy as you expect. In the UK whistle boards would need two setups depending on date of the run. Other countries have whole rule books on what horn sequence is done when so you'd need to implement all of those too

4 - Announcements have been spoken about at length. Not sure if they'll ever appear
4 - not sure what you mean by "if a player can see it they should be able to go there". If you mean if it's on the PIS players should be able to drive there in game this would very much limit the possible DLC being made in game as routes are only so long. Either that or you'd need very wrong PIS only showing where it's possible to drive in game. I think how they've made it is correct. The correct trains are shown with the right stops and players should be able to understand that the routes in game only go so far

More announcements yes, although they may be complicated to implement in some situations they are one of the few features that would actually serve a useful purpose in-game when exploring on-foot. Other features like working ticket machines and toilets are simply gimmicks and would be fun at first but quickly forgotten once you've played with them a few times.

Oh and finally an option if I may add where all train doors aren't driver only operated all the time!

Amen to that! If I'm driving a train where the guard is responsible for operating the doors, then I don't want to have to press "Y" or "U". Also, rather that conveying the message that it's time to close the doors via the HUD (which I'd rather not use), can we have the appropriate bell or buzzer instead?

The main setback for announcements are Licensing and Implementation.
Rivet did it with EDN, but it's quite off the mark in terms of the voice, but also it shows that TSW in general has a long way to go before announcements become a common feature.

another improvement they should add is an ai counductor/guard system where an ai character can have the controls of closing and opening train doors.
