I'm driving on instruments. In such weather conditions every services should be cancelled. Or DTG should adjust the weather to a realistic state. Just admit it that the 3D-fog broke the winter storms. Otherwise, what's the point of looking at a white screen and driving on a track monitor, or driving at night with the headlights off? It's TSW after all, not a Silent Hunter.
It's the bloody light setups. On the Class 66 they made the top marker a friggin searchlight beam which you're directly looking through which makes it unusable in fog. The game is so screwed I can't be bothered with it anymore, even too tired of modding it
Yeah, but the fog is primarily to blame. Its density should be adjusted adequately. Either fog should not be rendered so close, and there should be a dead radius in front of player (in which there is no fog or a barely noticeable amount of it). Plus the eye adaptation is broken, which makes the headlights even more overexposed from the cab, cause from a side window it looks much more adequately. Also the situation with the volumetric fog settings is a puzzle: Low - find 2 differences between this value and off value Medium - find 2 differences between this value and high value There should be something in between. In my opinion 20% of the current fog slider should be its maximum value.
