So are the graphics and fps on PS5 and XSX on par with PC or not?

I have a PS5 and a fairly high end PC. I actually get less stutters on the PS5 and I honestly can't tell the difference at 60 fps. I prefer the PS5 at the moment as it looks great on my TV in 4k..... If only PS5 had Track IR and Raildriver support.

PC version is capable of ultra settings whereas the PS5 version corresponds to high settings on PC.

Although, in my experience on PC, there's very little difference between "High" and "Ultra" in terms of graphics.. I'm sure someone will disagree, but I don't see it.

Did they upgrade the Preserved Collection routes too?

Yes. Everything got updated to UE 4.26. I just ran Rapid Transit and got a good 59-60fps on the PS5 version.

I heard it explained on a stream by Matt that the main difference (if not the only difference) between high and ultra is draw distance. If I recall correctly, if Ultra settings = 1.0 draw distance, high is 0.8 and previous gen consoles were at 0.4.

Do the next gen versions also have layers like the PC version as well?

Like other users say is HIGH of pc setting, but in some routes the FPS is a little poor. In Koln sometimes reach 25 fps, but in other routes between 60 and 40.

Some did, MSB and WSR got the new sky boxes.

WSR got more rolling stock, and a new more relaxed timetable.

ECW got the platform PIS screens, modified timetable featuring more 4 car formations and no 8 car formations to make it more realistic.

PS5 and Xbox series S and X get the full HMA layers as well as the PC version of Great Western Express timetable and scenarios as well.
