Hello everyone! I'm here again to demonstrate you a sometimes fogotten metro system in Europe. FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST YOUR OWN IDEA AND OPINION IN THIS THREAD. Okay we don't need to get the whole system even one line will be enough. I'm just suggesting for more metro systems (even if they are a bit boring to drive).
Okay so today we are going to be talking about the Sofia metro. The Sofia metro started operating not a long time ago in 1998 starting with line 1.
    LINE 1- Slivnitsa-Business park.
The oldest line on the Sofia metro consisting of 16 stations. (Maybe there are also plans for 190
    LINE 2 - Vitosha- Obelya
Opened in 2012 it's the second line consisting of 13 ( Still maybe 18 stations)
LINE 3- Gorna Banya- Hadzhi Dimitar
Opened in 2020 it is the newest line on the network consisting of 12 staions (18 planned). There are 3 more stations under construction which could be finished in 2024. This line also features safety railings for which the trains are halfway automatic.
    LINE 4- Obelya- Sofia Airport.
Opened in 2015 it's the third line (yes the order isn't by when it was built) it consists of 20 stations. It shares its route mostly with line 1 so they will have the same route for most of the time.
As rolling stock we could have:
MVM 81-717/714 (Not operatig since 2020, could have it as a special train)

MVM 81-740/741. By far this model has the most colours.

Siemens Inspiro. This shot was taken at Innotrans with the actual livery they use. Is that a class 717 behind it? This the LINE 3 rollings stock.

MVM 81-717 Modernized. Similar to the Hungarian metro

So this is all i have the say. Feel free to check out the wikipedia page about it and let's hope we get it.
Thanks for reading have a nice day!
    EDIT:
Apparently we just bought some new Skoda trains to replace the old ones. I personally like them a lot.
