[solved]installing A Route

I found a route that I’m trying to install to TSC but I don’t have no clue on how to install the file if anyone knows I would appreciate it so much

 

My car doesn't work. Any help?

Generally speaking, it comes either as an .exe, .rwp or another archive. You can install .rwp files using Utilities.exe in the RailWorks folder, or just use 7zip to open it and copy the files to RailWorks.

If you tell us what you are trying to install we can help.
DLC purchased thru Steam it will install automatically.

 

I got the route installed now I have a sound mod for the acela for TSC and I don't know where to install at

 

You don't like giving out much information

If you tell us where you got the sound mod then somebody could have a look.
Most add-ons have Readme file which tell you what to do.

 

I'm in a private group on Facebook with other TSC developers who makes mod and routes for the northeast corridor

 

So why not ask him if you can't give us details? Don't be shy to ask questions, we've all been at the beginning point somewhen.

But to get help, you should give details or the topic will drag along endlessly without result.

 

Then the people on that group will be able to tell you how to install their mods and routes.

 

If it's an EXE, run it as you would any other.
If it's an RPK or RWP use WinRar or an equivalent to unpack it and copy the folders into the TS folder.
If it's just an Assets/Content folder copy it into the TS folder.
