Well you definitely won't be able to split up multiple units such as the ICE 3, thats just not how they work. The trains come as one entire train that is permanently together and you can't just snip pieces off and expect it to still work. Its also been confirmed by DTG that Multiple units can only pair up with others of their own kind, again because most of them wouldn't function otherwise. As for the other capabilities of Formation Editor, thats something we can only speculate about until Dovetail tell us more about how it works. I would believe that you can determine the length and order of the train, but we might not have free rein as to what the train actually consists of.
There's no need to bump this so many times in succession. You posted your first message at about 8pm UK time, and bumped it around 10pm. It's unreasonable to expect DTG staff to be watching the forums and responding to posts this late in the evening.
you can still use godmode to spawn every single middle car of every single train available. wait, so does that mean I can make longer ICE 3s??
