Hi, my wheels look very bad when they are moving. It happens with any locomotive or wagon. See attached screenshots for some examples.

Do you know what it is, what's causing it, and if there's a solution?

I have all graphics at maximum (ultra and high). I tried disabling the antialias but it didn't fix it.

EDIT: This is in Train Sim World 4.

    Thanks!

Turn the motion blur off and it doesn't happen. Older content will have this issue.

Can confirm. This happened in TSW3 also on most of the older DLC. A lot of the older scenarios weren't built to deliver proper motion vectors for Unreal's TAA to use, and most of the Unreal 4 advanced post processing pipeline relies on TAA and the motion vectors to determine where and how to run. Since they don't get proper data in the older scenarios, they just process the wheels like anything else that's moving fast.

I just tried and yes, this fixes it. Thanks a lot!

Awesome explanation, thank you! I understand it better, now.

I even tested this. Using free roam (awesome mode, btw! Thanks devs!) I spawned an F125 in Northern Trans-Pennine (this was just to test it in an older route), then I spawned an Amfleet Coach car and coupled to it. With motion blur enabled, the F125 wheels rendered perfectly while, at the same time, the Amfleet Coach car wheels suffered the rendering problem (all as expected after your explanation of the root of the problem). Disabling motion blur fixed the render of the Amfleet Coach car.

Thanks again to both of you!

I attach a couple of screenshots showing this test, one with motion blur enabled and the other with it disabled.

Sorry, I'm new to the forums. Do I need to mark this as solved, somehow? Or edit the title and add "[SOLVED]" at the beginning, maybe?
