Watching the release stream, the Jubilee with ten coaches, starting off up the 1.1% gradient from Lime Street, was wound back to a 25% reverser/cut-off at 14mph and accelerated at ~2mph/minute. Wondering how accurate this is ?
Having bought the route, I've since modelled it, and found that 25% reverser gives the optimum acceleration from standstill until about 70mph.
