First of all I like to start by saying that I really like Train Sim World 2 and I truly belive that it is the way forward when it comes to train simulators. I especially enjoy driving the german trains and routes. To me sounds are the most important piece of the "immersion puzzle", and the last nine or so months following the release of TSW2 have been trying to say the least. I belive that the german trains have been the ones that suffered the most from all the issues with the sound. Saying that, there are some examples of german trains in TSW2 with really great, if not excellent sounds: BR 403 ICE BR 406 ICE BR 422 BR 423 BR 425 BR 442 Talent 2 DB BR 101 However, the rest of the fleet is long overdue for a sound overhaul. I've gone through the trains one by one, looking for three things: Traction motor fans - If the sound of the fans is present or not Rolling sound - the sound made between the wheel and the rail Sound over points - the sound made when going over a point or a switch (clicking, not squealing) I'm not really qualified to judge the correctness of the sounds, so I have only checked if they are present or not. For the same reason I have not looked at traction motor sounds (except for BR 146 witch I think we all agree sounds weird). I've compiled my results in a list provided in the attached screenshot. I hope this is of some small help to Adam and his team and that we soon can drive the improved trains up and down our favourite german routes. All the best ... Mats
