Recently downloaded Ruhr - Sieg Nord. Great route. But the noise inside the BR143 and BR185 was extreame and most unenjoyable even at rest. I did find a traction fan control switch and managed to turn it off. Much better. As a general comment, most locos have loud, not speed attenuated, underlying sound which is a annoyance to me. Loud flange squeal on 767 leaving Hagen at 5kph is over the top. The Class 166 is a dream to drive and the great sounds are perfect including the feint engine sound. The fantastic sounds of the diesel engines, turbos, gearboxes, points, track, relays, doors, etc are paramount to a great experience but that underlying sound is not real and should never drown out the good sounds. Sometimes, the noise does not stop even when the train comes to a rest. Its more like white noise or like having a microphone out the window with the wind blowing on it. I love what you guys have done but could we get this seen to please.
