Does anyone else suffer issues with the AWS applying the brakes on the 395 when enabled, even when acknowledging the buzzer immediately? It's so frustrating that I have to keep it disabled all the time.

Not had this problem, and been driving the Javelin a few bit recently. Are there any specific instances / locations?

IIRC this used to happen because the AWS/TPWS was still active in the rear cab.
There were lots of posts about it after the route released.

Thanks Nick, I'll make a mental note to disable when switching cabs.

Only when I have to switch ends on a scenario, so I think Nick Y is on the money with it being enabled in both cabs.

The GWE HST also did it with me once, I drove a set from Old Oak Common, Set all the AWS and equipment up, Drove it into Paddington as normal, Shut the cab down and went to the other cab and drove it to Reading, Didn't get far before the AWS slammed my brakes on and I came to a grinding halt. Nothing would release it and I almost declared it a failure... Until I realised I may not have shut the equipment down in the other cab, Had a quick look and the alarm was going off, I hadn't deactivated it. Quick switch off and on my way back to Reading, didn't have any other issues.
