The Line Running for a total of 65.84 miles (including branch lines), this huge network encompasses the large core section of the SWR around South West London out of Waterloo. The lines included are: Waterloo-Woking Hampton Court Branch Line Chessington Line Raynes Park-Epsom Hounslow Loop Line Kingston Loop Line Shepperton Branch Line Stations As there are a lot of stations I am not going to attempt to list them here, so instead here is a link to a map which shows the stations http://www.projectmapping.co.uk/Reviews/Resources/SWR NetworkMap1.pdf. Yes, this is the network map but it should be easy enough to look at... Operators and Rolling Stock 1 operator will be featured, that being SWR. 3 trains will be included, these being: The Class 450, Class 455 and Class 458 Services London-Woking (operated by Class 450) London Waterloo-Basingstoke [ends at Woking]: 2tph London Waterloo-Portsmouth Harbour [ends at Woking]: 1tph London Waterloo-Weymouth [ends at Woking]: 1tph London Waterloo-Haslemere [ends at Woking]: 1tph London Waterloo-Portsmouth Harbour via Guildford [ends at Woking]: 2tph (1tph calls at Clapham Junction) London Waterloo-Alton [ends at Woking] 1tph Metro and Suburban via Windsor Lines (operated by 450, 455 and 458) LW-Weybridge [ends at Hounslow] {A.I seen at Weybridge}: 2tph LW-LW: 6tph (2tph via Twickenham, 2tph via Hounslow Loop and 2tph via Kingston anticlockwise) LW-Windsor [ends at Whitton]: 2tph LW-Reading [ends at Whitton]: 2tph Metro and Suburban via Wimbledon (operated by 455 and 458 unless stated) LW-Chessington South: 2tph (455 only) LW-Dorking [ends at Epsom]: 1tph (455 only) LW-Guildford via Epsom [ends at Epsom]: 2tph (455 only) LW-Shepperton: 2tph (455 only) LW-LW via Kingston clockwise: 2tph LW-Hampton Court: 2tph (455 only) LW-Guildford via Claygate [ends at Surbiton]: 2tph (455 only) LW-Woking: 2tph (455 only) Pictures Waterloo Clapham Junction Woking Class 450 Class 455 Class 458 Final Words I feel a network the size of this with a lot of different services would make an amazing addition to TSW2, especially with the upcoming Rush Hour update. With a lot of stations and a lot of trains all running at once, this will be sure to keep anyone on their toes!
Something like this? Red- London Waterloo to Reading (including Windsor branch and Hounslow loop) Orange- London Waterloo to Woking (South Western Main Line) (including Shepperton branch and Chertsey/Kingston loops) Yellow- Other suburban branches from Waterloo. Green- North Downs Line Reading to Redhill operated by GWR. Blue- Brighton Main Line.
Pretty much bang on minus the BML, North Downs line and line via Cobham as well as any anything past Whitton, Woking and Epsom
Yeah I only put the BML and North Downs Line on there for comparison really. I was going to make a suggestion on the TS2021 forum for an extension of the Portsmouth Direct Line for a South West London suburban style network like your idea, that's why I made it originally.
South West London Network Suggestion by HamioSamio098 posted May 12, 2021 at 4:59 PM Here is the map I promised. The Black lines are what is included in my suggestion.
So just seen on this route that Feltham are re building the old steam yard didn't no if people new this
I would love to see a network like this, it would be good to see Windsor included. Personally I would rather it featured classes 421, 423 and 455 in NSE livery but would be happy with a more modern version. There is a very good freeware route for TS1 set in the 1950's/1960's covering some of this network including going to onto Windsor.
