The South West Main Line Central would be a great route. The SWML has London Waterloo, a huge, bustling station in the heart of Central London. The SWML has Clapham Junction - the busiest station in the UK by number of trains. Further down the line, you have the historic Eastleigh works along the main line as you head into the historic city of Southampton with its vast docks. Past Southampton, you have the stunning New Forest National Park, The beautiful Bournemouth station and the stunning Seaside views of Poole. I know that we won't get to see all of these places on one route but it would be amazing to drive the class 444 and 450 Siemens Desiro EMUs on passenger routes and the class 66 on many different freight routes.
