Here is my proposal for a new route for TSW: South West Mainline from Southampton Central to Wemouth, involving South Western Railway and CrossCountry as operators. Route Detail: Length: 50 Miles (80km) Stations: 23 (I believe) Approx. Route time: 1h 20 -1h 50 for a full run Locos: Class 444 SWR, Class 450 SWR, Class 220 CrossCountry Timetabling: Frequent fast/slow SWR services, Express CrossCountry between Bournemouth and Southampton Central. The line runs through Dorset and Hampshire, going through the beautiful New Forest, the stunning Jurassic Coast and the busy hubs of Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth, with good potential for scenery and scenarios throughout. There could also be layers for the 166 GWR at both ends, layering onto Weymouth and Southampton Central stations, as well as Class 66 freight services along the line, for example a branch to Southampton docks for container freight.
