    Introduction

Hello this is my suggestion for a route on the south western Mainline between Weymouth and Southampton Central. The shortest travel time between these stations is 1 hour 25 minutes and the maximum is 1 hour 38 minutes the length is 50 miles containing 20 stations.

    The Route
Route travel time - between 1 hour 25 minutes and 1 hour 38 minutes
    Route length - 50 miles
    Number of stations - 20

    Rolling Stock

South Western Railway Siemens Desiro BR class 444/450

These trains are 3rd rail electric multiple units built by Siemens constructed between 2002 and 2006 and can be operated as 5 coaches long or 10 coaches long combined of 2 5 coaches units they are currently operated by South Western Railway there are currently 45
Class 444s in service and 127 Class 450s in service. They both have a maximum speed of 100 miles per hour. They are both very similar trains and can be coupled together.

    -Weymouth
    -Upwey
    -Dorchester South
    -Moreton
    -Wool
    -Wareham
    -Hamworthy
    -Poole
    -Bournemout
    -Pokesdown
    -Christchurch
    -New Milton
    -Brockenhurst
    -Southampton Central

    AI
AI 450/444 at Weymouth and Southampton Central
AI southern class 377 at Southampton Central

    Scenarios

    Train breakdown

When you reach Bournemouth the 5 rear coaches Have a power failure you have to then uncouple the front five coaches from the rear five and continue on to Southampton Central.

    Stranded passengers

You are approaching Poole when you realise you are only driving half a train as all of a sudden the train uncoupled its self from the rear five as you departed Southampton Central you have to go back on yourself to recouple the five rear units containing stranded passengers.

    Conclusion
I think this would be a great addition to Train sim world as it introduces a new train aswell as a new route and a new company in South Wsetern Railyway.

    Thanks for reading

Good call, but I would prefer an era that would permit inclusion of the Weymouth Quay line.

Also why have you duplicated your earlier posts?

Spamming requests is against the forum CoC and not going to endear your suggestion to DTG or anyone else... :)

    Southern Region? Tsk.
But seriously, it would be a cracking section of the SWML. While it's a very well made DLC I find the TSC version, which only runs between Bournemouth to Southampton, doesn't feel like a realistic shift, if you get my meaning.
Yes to the Desiros, they have to come to TSW soon.
Though my favourites were the 442s and the 411s that served the stoppers after the route to Weymouth was electrified.

Would love to see this route in the game. The game definitely needs more coastal routes

Well, DTG did recently reveal that they can now model tidal water. They wouldn't have worked on it if they didn't intend to use it. We're getting a coastal route or one that features a tidal estuary from DTG soon. I think it will also feature in Rivet's Fife Circle route and at Barking Riverside too.

Yeah I'd love it to be honest. SWT slightly more as there is a bit more scope - we could stick in the modern era and include the 444/450s and the 159s, and if we pushed to route towards the Waterloo end we could include the 455s, and if willing to go a few years back also include the 456s.

Go even further and not bother with the 456s and bring in the slam doors!! I had no interest in them before but now I love em! 411/412s (which both look similar), and 421/422/423 (which all look very similar), mix it in the livery transitional era and we can have a mix of the old and new liveried trains running about! Especially around the busy Clapham Junction!!!

Yes I agree with you 100% if they ditch ps4 and older consoles for when tsw5 comes they could certainly run it to Waterloo I think especially with old and new Stock
