I would like to suggest a trio of branches that used to leave the GWR mainline at Southall to Brentford Dock and West Drayton (and Yiewsley) heading to both Staines West in the south and Uxbridge Vine Street in the north. Set in around 1961-62 just prior to closure and using class 117, 119, 121, 122 and 128 dmus. There were a total of 2 stations along nearly 4 miles on the Brentford branch and 9 stations on the other pair along approximately 8 miles of line.
