I'm running the introduction to the 395. On the second half of it to Stratford, I accidentally applied too much braking power and threw it into 11 triggering the emergency brakes/shutdown inside the tunnel. I tried everything I could think of with resetting the alarms, switching to DC, switching back to AC, etc. I couldn't get the train re-engaged to continue to Stratford. I had 0.9 miles left, but accidentally rolled backwards into a red light trying to re-engage the train. Any ideas?
You need to put it into emergency again (a second time so to say) and then afterwards you should be fine to release the brakes and apply throttle again.
¿Alguna idea? [/ QUOTE] put the inverter at "0".The emergencies in some locomotives activate all the brakes, for that reason it puts the automatic in march and the independent one as well. then look at the brake gauges, in the left of the speedometer and look at they are immobile. If there are, the investor puts forward and continues on your way, but if he does not wait until they are immobilized and then you proceed. Hope it help you.
Good morning. For me, it worked that way. After applying the power lever emergency brake, press and hold the brake at 11 for a few seconds, as soon as the alarm stops ringing, leave the power lever at "Zero", make sure that the shoe or pantograph ( variable according to the stretch), is activated and the MCB is closed, after that just continue your journey.
