My next UK route suggestion would be the Southeastern Mainline from London Charing X to Dover Priory The route will feature the line from Charing X to Dover Priory to potentially merge with the extended SEHS. Major stations include London Bridge, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Paddock Wood, Ashford International, Folkstone Central and Dollands Moor Yard. Rolling Stock: Class 375/6 (Dual Voltage) Class 377/5 Class 376 Class 465 (Class 395 sounds) Class 92 (for CTRL freight if both routes ever get merged. Layers: Class 377 AI at London Bridge and Tonbridge. TGV Layers between Ashford and the Channel Tunnel. Class 395 Layers from Ashford to Dover Priory. German freight wagons as Static display at Dollands Moor and hauled by the included Class 92 locomotives. Total route mileage should be 90 miles including branches due to Dollands Moor Yard being included. What do you think of this potential TSW3 dlc?
It's a nice route idea and I was looking into this myself earlier today. One thing that might be an issue for some players is the length of the route and the time it will take to complete. Personally speaking, I would play such a lengthy route. From having a quick look on the National Rail Enquries website, one of the fastest services on this route takes 1 hour and 53 minutes, and that calls at London Waterloo East, London Bridge, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Paddock Wood, Marden, Staplehurst, Headcorn, Pluckley, Ashford International, Westenhanger, Folkestone West, Folkestone Central, and Dover Priory.
Yep just under two hours in an electrostar would definitely not convince me to go anywhere near this route if it came to the game.
