The DLC would follow one of two (or both) of two routes on the Coastway line. 1: West Coastway - Brighton to Portsmouth and Southampton: This route would be from Brighton to Southampton, including the lines to Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and Portsmouth. It would include the Class 313 and 377. 2: East Coastway - Brighton to Hastings: This route would go along the electrified route to Ore. Alternatively, the Seaford branch and Marshlink Line would be included. It would include the Class 377, 171/7 (with Marshlink) and 313 (with Seaford branch).
