When passing the signal which indicates red light we are done what is called SPAD. If we did that mistakenly because misjudging the timing of braking, should the game let us to continue to play so that we completely stop the train and contact the signaller and report the incident. Than the signaller would give us the permision if the block is clear to proceed with caution to the next signal so to be prepared to stop the train. Also if SPAD under our own authority the game should let us continue. So again we should immediately stop the train and contact the signaller so to wait for the response. Idea is that I like it to be as close to the reality as it can be.

When you SPAD you could lose all your AP points for that run, as well as having to ask for permission to continue. If you SPAD and don’t stop within a certain time or distance, or fail to contact the signaller within a certain time, then the run still ends like it does now, which would happen if you were going silly fast or you had fallen asleep.

I agree that the AP points should be lost in that case, because it is a major mistake. But at the same time I would like that we could have the oportunnity to continue as I explained in my original post.
