If I have the game pass version of the game and have bought add ons for that edition and if I would have bought the special edition would I still have the add-ons?
Any add-ons you purchase will be playable if you buy any edition of TSW5. The game pass version is the same game but free for subscribers until it gets removed from gamepass.
A little tip as you are possibly a fairly new player of TSW. Unlike previous versions, the base game for TSW5 (i.e. with no routes or trains) was free for a limited period. If they do the same for TSW6 (likely to be released later this year if previous release schedules is anything to go by), pick it up for free then all DLC you own will be playable on it, not including the base routes for TSW5 unless you have purchased them separately. But then TSW5 and its routes will come off of Game Pass anyway, probably to be replaced by TSW6. I would advise doing this even if you do intend to play TSW6 on Game Pass (assuming it comes onto Game Pass) as it will be yours to keep and if you stop using GP like I have recently, you will still be able to play it.
