Specific German Announcement: Ice

    As an American I can't get the phonetic down to try and spell it. For all the German speakers out there, the F does the ICE scream at you that sounds like: "Sook-Bah-Ien-Floosen"... help me out here Germans...

    It’s Zugbeeinflussung. Phonetically it is pronounced zug-be-ein-fla-sung.

    It’s the ZB of PZB, the P being Punktförmige.

    In English it translates to intermittent train influencing.

    In emergency braking situations you’ll hear Zwanbremsung (Zwan-brem-zung) repeated.

    It just means emergency braking.
