There is a speed limit issue on the RE9 Siegen Hbf Timetable train departing at 06:18. The speed instrument only goes up to 100 mph, but the sim gives limits of 124 mph and 155 mph between the Düren and Ehrenfeld stations. Even at full throttle, I was not able to exceed 104-106 mph throughout the areas impacted, and I still kept the trip on schedule.

Only the ICE 3M can go at those kind of speeds, the Talent 2 shouldn’t exceed 160 km/h (99 mph), even if the track speed limit is higher.

The speed limit up to 250 km/h (155 mph) is for the ICE trains running on the route specifically. The talent 2 running on the same section of tracks is only meant to go at 160 km/h (99mph) as the train’s maximum limit is 160 km/h (99mph). In addition, the absolute limit when travelling without in-cab signalling in this case, LZB is 160 km/h.
The timetable is designed for that speed as well for RE9 services

(Can be seen in HMA as well if you’re driving RE services)

PZB is for under 160 km/h and LZB is for over 160 km/h

The S-bahn services also use LZB to run at a closer distance. Also at slower speeds.

I don't think this thread was about LZB initially, but possibly some misunderstanding about how fast certain locos or EMUs can run.

Thanks for the clarification everyone. I assumed the sim would send speed limit instructions based on the engine I was using at the time.
