    Long post warning, sorry!

I'm usually more onto passenger routes but I've slowly been working through the journey in SPG.

I've got as far as the Fully Fueled scenario and last night I finally had two hours spare to give it a go. To say it didn't go well was an understatement.

I followed the instructions given and as I'm sure is a surprise to no one who has attempted this is TSW I couldn't get the main train moving after I'd coupled the two rear locos to it. After jumping on the forums, viewing you YouTube and reading some amazing helpful communities guides I managed to set up everythin correctly and get things moving. Of course because I'd spent over an hour faffing around I was greeted with a perpetual red light a couple of miles up the line. After half an hour of waiting and no sign any trains in front of me, I gave up.

The good news is I'm now pretty sure I'll be more successful next time so I'm not after any help, there's plenty of that on the forums already.

What's frustrating is that the instructions are so incomplete in the first place. I realise DGT only have limited resources to go back and fix this kind of thing, if this was in the preserved collection I could perhaps be a bit more forgiving, but given this is a core route I think it's important it gets fixed.

Why should DGT invest the time given that most of the community will have already played this scenario and will already know how to setup this train configuration correctly? The short answer is new players, especially those on Epic.

Matt said on Mondays Introduction TSW stream on Epic that the scenarios are there to teach you different aspects of using the locos. This clearly isn't true in this case as they miss out several critical steps!

I worry that a large amount of users who've just picked up the game for free won't be invested enough to try and find the required instructions on the forums and will simply give up. This should have been fixed for the 4.26 upgrade so new players were more likely to stick around, become part of the community and perhaps buy some DLC.

Not sure anything will be done as I can see from old posts they've been aware of the issues for a good while. I just wanted to give my experience as a (fairly) newbie. Anyway, thanks for reading and wish we luck next time!

I think Fully Fuelled has certainly caused many of us issues in the past and some of us have been playing for several years. Funny you should mention this particular scenario as I plan to run it again this weekend for the first time in oooooh way over 12 months, so I had been on here earlier to remind myself of the list of actions to set the locos up correctly. You are right though, when I think about it, as a beginner there would be no way of me knowing in game what I must do to get this and a few of the other scenarios working.

DTG's lack of satisfactory instructional/reference materials has been a complaint for a loooong time now. "Manuals" has been an entry on the Roadmap for months, but we have yet to see a single one since their discontinuance after TSW2's release. And the tutorials remain incredibly sketchy, although at least they have added "recovery from emergency stop" in the more recent ones.
