Here is my coverage of the SPG locomotives (not including the CSX SD40 DLC)

    CSX AC4400CW YN3B bugs:
    1. Engineer and conductor cab fan audio cuts in and out. (Sometimes it works but if you go into 3rd person cam then back into the cab the glitch then happens)
    2. Gauge light lit numberboard on the engineer top side of the cab has a texture flashing issue.
    3. Ditch lights do not flash/oscillate when horn is activated.
    4. Gauge light dimmer doesn’t work (idk if that’s intentional or not).
    5. air brake target display (the green bar between the train brake and locomotive brake) is lit when turning on gauge lights but no shows any text that displays your air brake position. (I’m sure this was intentional during CSX heavy haul/TSW2 port but since more locomotives are getting this display it would be nice to have them working)

    CSX AC4400CW YN2 bugs:
    1. Engineer and conductor cab fan audio cuts in and out. (Sometimes it works but if you go into 3rd person cam then back into the cab the glitch then happens)
    2. Gauge light lit numberboard on the engineer top side of the cab has a texture flashing issue more worse than the YN3B
6: Gauge lights are entirely broken.

    GP38-2 YN3B/YN2:
No bugs that I could find after multiple tests on switches and other small details.

SD40-2: No bugs that I could find after multiple tests on switches and other small details.

    Dash 8-40CW bugs:
HOTD (Head end of train device) doesn’t display anything no matter what, just shows two red dots.
No other bugs found besides that.

improvements I’d like to see besides those bugs being fixed:
Give each locomotive a unique horn
AC4400CW: either keep the stock horn but tweak it to sound closer to a real CSX AC4400CW horn through some synthesizing (or preferably real audio and if there’s no real audio file just use the NS GEVO horn but fix the sound looping.)
Bell: it is fine in my opinion
Engine sound: fix N1-8 so it doesn’t sound like a vacuum cleaner.

    C40-8W:
Horn: Leslie RS3L..give it the ex Conrail feeling
    Bell: fine
Engine: fix N1-8 so it doesn’t sound like a vacuum cleaner.

    GP38-2:
Horn: RS5T, a decent chunk of CSX GP38-2s from what I’ve seen in person and online have them.

    SD40-2:
    Horn: Raised letter K5LA.

BNSF SD40-2 should be removed from the TT.

Cab signals: with the new MBTA route on the horizon for TSW5 CSX locos that run there are in need of cab signals. Now the AC4400CW already has the cab signal box in the cab it just needs to be edited into a working cab signal display instead of a blank piece. Another candidate should be the GP38-2.

PTC screens: now I doubt DTG would ever add PTC screens to the three units especially since they’re not gonna ever work majorly on the CSXT locomotives unless a new CSX route is made or something so a lot of this is just improvements I’d like to see. But from what I can tell the left screen in AC4400CWs are now PTC screens and I’d assume in the GP38-2 and SD40-2 they’re added on the control stand like the BNSF one is.

headlights: make the headlights have their proper yellow color and not the white color (why are all American locomotive headlights that are not LED still have the white color when the ACe is the only one somewhat spot on?) also make them brighter if possible..the headlights/day and night brightness of them should really be worked on and hey DTG if it’s too much of a hassle give us a setting slider? Say it’s night time and I want my lights to shine out further? I can manually do it via a slider in the settings if that’s a doable solution I’d take it.

Horn options if sounds are not reasonably feasible to get: do whag Run8 does and allow us to swap horn and bell sounds maybe via the locomotive depot menu or in settings? If that’s even possible with simulgraph stuff.

please post down below what other SPG bugs you have found or improvements of your own you’d like to see.

once again these changes I’ve listed (besides the bugs) are more than likely not going to happen unless A. a new CSXT route is made, or B. A new route is made where CSXT can be heavily or decently used.
