Hello, I've tried to get te train moving when running the 0733 8F scenario from Ditton Junction to Speke, however the train seems overloaded (it weighs approx 600 tons). Despite judicious use of the sanders, and much playing around with the cut-off and regulator, I could only advance forward a little by setting-back several times. Even then the train only moved forward by about a loco length, at a maximum speed of 1.5mph before finally stalling, with a full head of steam. Has anyone actually managed to drive that scenario?. Thank you.
If it's got gray wagons at the front & red at the end/middle then you will have to manually release the brakes on the red wagons, there is a pull cord (vac release) pull it for 10 secs each wagon.
Thank you - although the Fitted wagons should not have had their brakes applied (unless the Guard did that?). Surely they should have been at the font of the rake, behind the tender, thus being a fitted head. When gently stopping at the Speke Yard scenario marker, the Objective Complete messaged popped up, then the train promptly derailed, ending the scenario!.
