A lot of the splash screens are just a photograph that was chosen from this Forum https://forums.dovetailgames.com/forums/creation-centre.42/ They are the ones that one the weekly contest. Sometime the splash screen is a promotion. And most people see these splash screens when they boot up TSC.
I don't like it as it is pointless. You are showing everyone what they see when the start TS Classic. I presume next you will start showing pictures of the main menu as you might think most people have not seen that either.

Hello everyone, I would just like to ask to keep conversations in this forum respectful. If you find a thread that seems useless to you, there might still be fun in it for others, inflammatory behaviours is not necessary. On the other hand it's just as inflammatory to respond with sarcastic comments to egg another person on. Both behaviours will lead to a toxic and unpleasant environment, so please keep that in mind. Hatchet Hill Quarry, funnily not listed in the Steam store but still obtainable via direct link. It's a quaint little route, and its assets are required for some workshop routes. https://store.steampowered.com/sub/11113/ Don't expect it to go on sale as it seems it is only available due to a mistake on Steam's end.
The 04 shunter is included and as far as I'm aware, it's the only way to get hold of a copy of it. Lovely little thing, though I wish the orange beacon lamps on top of the cab were operable on the industrial variant. Come's with 2 flavours of class 04 if I remember correctly. Here's a vid I did of it...
