    Hello everyone

I'm back with a new suggestion, namely a route that is mainly based on international passenger train traffic.
This line goes from almelo - salzbergen, although an extension would be nice for the upcoming route zwolle groningen. To be able to use the route hopping there as well.

The main reason why this line?
Is to introduce a iconic locomotive from Alstom (NS 1750) in service in two countries the Netherlands and France.

This route brings something new such as.
The changes to drive with two different locomotives in one service wich have different safety systems. (ATB - PZB)
Also the combination of two railway infrastructures seems like something really impressive to see in TSW.

Below are videos, photos and some more information about this idea.

    link https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoorlijn_Almelo_-_Salzbergen Wikipedia

Total length Zwolle not included Total 54.5 km (33 miles)

Has opened in 18 October 1865

    Electrified
    Almelo - Oldenzaal: 1951 (1500 volt 'DC')
    Oldenzaal - Salzbergen: 1976 (15.000 volt 'AC')

    Number of tracks 2

    Train section speed
    Almelo - Hengelo: 130 km/h
    Hengelo - border: 125 km/h

    border - Bad Bentheim: 130 km/h
    Bad Bentheim - Salzbergen: 140 km/h

    Train service by
Almelo - Hengelo: NS, Keolis (Blauwnet)
Hengelo - Oldenzaal: Arriva (Blauwnet), eurobahn
    Bad Bentheim - Salzbergen: Eurobahn
Almelo - Salzbergen: NS, DB, Eurobahn

Although it is mainly about the Intercity Berlin, there are also some other passenger and freight services that run wish run on this line.

At Bad Bentheim station until 2023 the locomotives are switched.

Here you see how it is now. Still fun, but the coolest part is gone. With the new locomotives, two separate ones are no longer needed because everything from electrical voltage to the safety systems is exchanged under one locomotive.

Let me know what you think about this idea?
