Srtm Downloader Not Working

Hi need some help I been following videos of getting SRTM for my route but I am not getting the black and white screen showing the terrain data

 

Im getting the same, i also get, required authentication

 

Did you set your project's CPS to EPSG: 4326 before?

 

all settings were checked, still no joy

 

Do you know that you also can download your SRTM data in the web at websites like this: https://dwtkns.com/srtm30m/

There is no need to have to use the SRTM downloader plugin in QGIS.

You can use the files you download there, immediately in the Editor. No editing is needed like for the Lidar data.

ive been to website, when i click on tile, then try to download it, i get this message
Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

 

Maybe it has something to do with that you need to login first.

Quote from the first page:
"A NASA Earthdata login is required to download the files."

Update: No, that didn't solve the issue for me too. The website must have been available just a few weeks ago when I got mine.

Okay, so what about that solution:

I tested my QGIS SRTM downloader and it works with my NASA credentials.

If you say me the concrete area of your route, I maybe can upload your needed .hgt files for you.

 

You need to press "Set Canvas extent". Thereafter you can download the files, if you logged in with your NASA account.

 

my coordinates are 2 tiles, NW54003 & NW53003
