Any chance of sorting out stability on Xbox series x version, smooth running in places, lagging in most others, even at slow speed. Only way to make it smooth running is by looking at the ground of the cab and having little of the window showing. Weirdly it seems to happen most when there are lots of trees. A console like the series x should have no issue coping with a game like this.
Pretty much most of them, have only uk routes, but can go smoothly one minute, then start to judder, lag. Can be built up with buildings fine, but get to where there’s trees, then it affects it the most.
Hmmm... that's pretty odd. Don't think I've ever have seen trees causing stutter. Maybe it's the assets they used there?
So take ECML, leave Peterborough, goes fine, when it goes from 4 tracks to 2, it starts juddering, lagging, southeastern high speed, go on the high speed section fine, get around dartford and some parts of the rest of the route juddering and lagging but around gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, fine, no issues. It doesn’t happen on Bakerloo but that’s in a tunnel for the most part, but on Brighton mainline, works a treat, no issues.
No issues for me on both those routes on PlayStation 5. I just tried it on my series as on gamepass and Peterborough had no issues on a series s can’t try high speed as I don’t have that on series s
Hmmm, weird, I’m on my 3rd Xbox series x, as I was a victim of the wonderful launch they had with issues and this occurred on my previous one as well. Just can’t work out what it is. I have got a expansion card and external hard drive plugged in, so it’s not like my console is begging for space
On my Series S it seems to struggle a little with Stoke Tunnel and then around Rossington Crossovers as well.
Ah ok so where is train sim installed if it’s on the external hard drive move it to either the console or the expansion card
Ah thought that would have helped. Is it just this sim it does it with or performance issues other games
Just the sim, every other game works fine, internal, external on both card and hard drive and I’ve plenty of room, got over a TB of storage
It just seems a common trend for when it’s with areas with lots of trees sounds stupid, but that’s what I see, I’ve just tried it on Gospel Oak to barking route, get towards Gospel Oak and it judders all the time, but go the other side to barking it’s fine. It might be something to do with rush hour passenger stuff but then they had it on London to Brighton and that runs fine for me. The pre TSW 3 routes work fine, the only recent route that I’ve not had much issue in terms of juddering is Blackpool
I don't tend to see the issues described on my XBX. I get the occasional very short freeze (one of the SEHS HS1 tunnels is fairly consistent) but that's about it. Oh but then there's the audio......
In the tunnels it’s fine, it’s everywhere else, in open area, judders and jumps, audio no issues. walking around, being a passenger, no problem, driving is when it’s an issue.
