Hello everyone, I would like to suggest the addition of the Stadler FLIRT 3 as a new EMU for Train Sim World 6. The FLIRT 3 is one of the most modern and widely used regional trains in Germany and across Europe. In Germany, it is especially well known under DB Regio, making it a perfect fit for existing and future German routes in TSW. Why the Stadler FLIRT 3? Modern and popular design: The FLIRT 3 has become an iconic part of the German regional rail fleet. Authentic livery: The red DB Regio paint scheme represents what most players see in real life across Germany. Immersive gameplay: With fast acceleration, comfortable interiors, and wide passenger windows, it would provide a fresh and authentic driving experience. Route flexibility: The FLIRT 3 operates on many German routes, making it highly versatile as a layer for different DLCs. Route Suggestion – Essen to Münster via Recklinghausen A great route to accompany the Stadler FLIRT 3 would be the Essen – Recklinghausen – Münster line. The line length is just under 100 km, which makes it a realistic and manageable addition to TSW. The FLIRT 3 is used here by DB Regio as RE42 (“Niers-Haard-Express”), running from Essen to Münster. This would not only showcase the train in its authentic environment but also add another important corridor in the Ruhr area to the game. Possible Features: Accurate sounds of the Stadler FLIRT 3 traction system. Detailed cab with modern displays. Interior passenger view with realistic seating layouts. Multiple unit operation. I believe the Stadler FLIRT 3, together with a potential Essen–Münster route, would be a fantastic addition to TSW6. It would bring even more variety to the German regional fleet and give players another modern EMU to enjoy in a realistic setting. What do you think?
