Welcome to this suggestion of a Stadler Flirt 3 EMU specifically run by DB Regio Süwex. Many of you probably know the Flirt series from manufacturer Stadler Rail. I also know those type of train has been suggested often here, so why do it again you ask? Because now is probably the best time for this EMU to be developed than ever before in Train Sim World history. "But we already have many routes that use the flirt series in real life like RRO or SRM, so why is it now better than before?" Because now we have Mannheim to Kaiserslautern and the upcoming Frankfurt Sbahn including the entire part from FFM Hbf to Mainz Hbf! The most important difference these routes have from all the others is that the Regional lines using the Flirt 3 are fully run by DB Regio which is very important for the licensing part of making a new dlc. To get to the star of this suggestion: The DB Br 429.1 or 1429 are known under the name Stadler Flirt 3. The certain company this suggestion aims for are the ones used by DB Regio Süwex in the Rhein-Main area starting in Frankfurt going in the areas to Koblenz, Trier, Mannheim or Kaiserslautern. The Flirt 3 has a top speed of 160 kph and uses most modern german safety systems like Sifa, PZB and LZB. Here an image of the Flirt 3 in Süwex livery: After explaining why this certain version of the Flirt 3 would be the most reasonable, i would also like to add my part of view why this EMU would be a great addition to the fleet. 1. Besides it being a known EMU it would feature an entire new feeling of modern German EMUs in the game. Thats because we only have the regional Emus from Alstom/Bombardier being the Br 425 and Br 442, so a new manufacturer for german regionals would be a welcome addition. 2. The Flirt 3 Süwex can be used in timetables for Mannheim and upcoming FFM Sbahn making both of these route even more valuable for players. Would also be a something for the eye as it much differs from DBs usual red liverys. Not to mention it could be layerd in FTF or possible future routes. 3. The last point being the community. Since this loco is in use nearly everywhere in germany, and with a rather low chance of all privat companys being added, many could use freeroam, livery designer or timetable mods to use it wherever they like. At least in Trainsimulator Classic this loco has a rather high reputation. To get to the end of this long suggestion. Thank you for reading all that and let me know if there is something you like about this EMU.
