I would like to start seeing seating at stations in future routes being accessible. Similar to how train passenger seats work, but instead it's the ones at stations! Having only NPCs being able to sit down at these platform seats, while us players have to awkwardly crouch in front of the seat to role-play us sitting is very bizarre. It's a very small and slight thing to ask for which is why I believe it can happen.
I've been wantig this feature since the original TSW game. Why have DTG never thought of this as a feature
My only guess is that maybe they didn't expect people to really utilize passenger mode to such extent or at all? But still at the end of the day, we should be able to sit in a bloody chair lol.
My assumption is that it has something to do with the chair/bench/seat blueprints on the routes, which might be different to a seat modelled inside of a loco or wagon. I wonder why NPCs can sit on them, but the player character can't, though. IIRC we had a discussion about this already quite a while back, but couldn't find it anymore. Its time that seats are useable by the player character. Nice shot by the way.
Thanks mate! =D Also yeah, with the technology available nowadays I would expect this to be pretty much automatic but surprisingly it's still absent 5 iterations later... I hope they don't make this a core feature with TSW6 or so on, because that's honestly pathetic.
