Heya general question here, is TSW4 compatible on steam deck? I will be getting one soon so just curious (obviously not just for TSW - mostly for other games) Cheers is anyones knows (the steam page doesn't really awnser it) thanks. (If not then don't worry - I was mostly going to stick to pc anyway but just curious)
playable, but saw some graphic bugs reported. not sure, you may try it, of course it'll still be worth it for other games but yeah
I can’t speak for TSW4, but I’ve played TSW3 on my Steam Deck and the game will work by default. I had some frustrations from messing with the screen resolutions in the settings, but after a while I got it working at 1280x800. My graphics settings are mostly medium-low stuff, and I found myself getting 20-30 FPS in the game. It depends on where you’re driving really, examples include 30 FPS at Hamburg Hbf on Hamburg-Lübeck, 20 in Barstow on Cajon Pass, and below 20 at London Victoria on the BML. Cathcart Circle got me above 40 FPS! So really performance depends on the route. Matt has said TSW4 should run fairly similarly to TSW3, so it should work fairly well. It’s nothing crazy, and isn’t going to impress anyone on that small 720p screen, but it works.
Yeah - that was my presumption to be honest. I don't even really plan to play it on steam deck I was just genuinely curious. Thanks yall!
