The game works great on the Deck but if you do a setting/option out of order you can make the game unplayable accidentally. When you first Install game the first thing you must do is go to options and change the resolution to 1280x800 (Steam Deck Resolution) or what ever you want. The game is set to 320x200 or something like that. If you apply any setting without changing the resolution the game will set the 320 resolution. So you will be looking at a two inch by one inch picture which isn't good at all. The only way out of that issue that I found was to reinstall the game. So on the Deck immediately change the resolution to what you want and apply it. Then you can change any other settings and apply them without affecting the games display. I hope this helps. ( sorry if I didn't get the resolution numbers correct I was trying to remember off the top of my head)
I know it’s too late now, but In the future if you ever have an issue like that you just need to delete the proton files instead of deleting the entire game, much quicker and doesn’t involve re-downloading all of the addons and game files.
Hi there. Thanks for your input .. i am one of those guys trying first before reading manuals or checking the forum ... where can I find these PROTON files speediek#8515 is talking about? I am stuck in this stupid resolutios circle ...
Hi there, if you hit the cog icon on the games page then select Developer, you should see an option Delete Proton Files select that and you’ll have a fresh start.
Good morning. Just to close the loop, I saved and then deleted the data in the "documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld4" folder ... this approach worked for me. Thanks again for your help
