anybody know what the direct water injector on the tender walls are used for?

 

They allow water to flow from the tender to the injectors, devices which squirt water into the boiler. To do so you would then open the injector steam valve on the manifold but they aren't operable yet. They will have to be if we get manual firing.

 

Do you know if they plan on making it so you can do manual fireing
