This is just a list of some steam locomotives I would like to see. I know dtg won't make steam anymore but maybe some of the 3rd parties will. Never going to happen. DTG have said that they have abandoned steam so you (and basically everyone else) can keep suggested steam but there is not a chance that steam with comeback for the forseeable future. DTG giving up on steam is the most laziest thing I've heard. Steam had a chance to be really good but DTG didn't let it have that chance; I hope that a 3rd party dev (either new or current) can bring back steam.
You’re have more chance of being the next prime minster than a new steam loco EVER making its way into TSW again. DTG attitude on steam indicates that they’re done with steam content. It’s not financially profitable for them.
I want some ATSF steam power in game: Santa Fe #3751, #2926, other ATSF 4-8-4s, 3000-Class 2-10-10-2, 5000 "Madame Queen", 5001-Class, and 5011-Class 2-10-4s, 3800-Class 2-10-2, 3450/3460-Class 4-6-4s (including the "Blue Goose" #3460); Also N&W Class A and Y6b, B&O (EM-1) and DM&IR (M3/M4) Yellowstones, C&O Allegheny/Virginian Blue Ridge 2-6-6-6s, N&W Unshrouded J; PRR Steam: H10, K4s, T1, M1/A/B, J1, I1, L1, B6sb, Q1, Q2, S1, S2 Turbine; NYC Dreyfuss, Empire State Express, and Commodore Vanderbilt Hudsons, Milwaukee Road A-Class 4-4-2 and F6/F7 Streamlined Hudsons.
Yes yes, we all know that DTG is giving up on (abandoned) Steam Locos when they Hailed the Wonder of the Flying Scotsman like it was the next best thing to "Chicken To Tasty" with a fireman that sits on his bum looking like a lost puppy that needs a sheep dog to find him, while doing nothing at all... But hey DTG is in talks with 3rd part Devs that they can't talk about with the community because nothing is written in stone yet, and yet they still at the peace talks? After all this time, but the 1 handled wonders still get pumped out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯(⊙o⊙)
Nice presentation but sadly it will fall on stony ground. The only steam now allowed at DTG Towers is when they put the kettle on for a tea/coffes round!
Qld garratt is my favourite, would of been the qld bb18 1/4 would be the one that got me interested in steam, i find steam interesting form an engineering point of view, historical reasons and i think that they are just cool.
