Thought this worth abstracting from the main Crewe to Liverpool “SOS” thread as it has a wider application for other classic or heritage UK routes. Can you please look at implementing full steam heat effects on those locos and rolling stock which is so equipped? For steam locos it’s simply a bleed off the boiler, for diesels there was a separate steam heat boiler fitted which was normally attended to by the secondman/driver’s assistant. We also need effects on the coaching stock - the high pressure steam leaked anywhere there was a slight weakness in the system, from under the coaches, from the pipe connections between the coaches and from the venting at the end of the train. A steam era or early diesel route is really not complete without this iconic effect.
