The steam preorder bonus doesn't seem to working, it's still saying the 6th of September, yet other games I've had early (like FH5) have had the official release on the basic version, then the early access, I think it's safe to say that DTG has done a fup and as per normal steams going to have to wait.
This is fairly normal for steam, the early access won't show up until it goes live. F1 manager 2022 did the same thing when it launched last week.
Same for the standard edition when I folded last night. Says game unlocks on 6th Sept, but I’m sure it will be along Friday evening.
The whole point is... steam have no EA system.... The way how DTG is working now is the release for the standard and deluxe edition is on friday but the other parts are "dlcs" and releasing on the 6th... So the date is set to september the 6th so people knows the release is september the 6th but in reality it's friday with extra content on tuesday....
With F1 Manager 22 the early access (last friday) on Steam worked like a charm. What I would like to know is when do preload open or will their be a preload? F1 Manager 22 got preload mid of last week and early access also started on friday.
I don't think there is a preload by TSW3! A little change it will be possible from friday 00:00u but i think you have to download the game when it is released!
It's already showing confliction I'm curious how it's set to release early for us sheep that have already cashed in. Secondly, does it automatically know what DLC I own and download them too?
Steam can only show one release date, this is why I have written above it worked like a charm with F1 Manager 22. Same thing. Release yesterday, pre-order release was last friday. Their was also only the official date shown as Steam can only handle one. Short answer, yes.
Will there be an announcement soon of a delay to the release of the game. The streams have been cancelled as not suitable to be shown. Have DTG found numerous errors and don’t want the problems rush hours release caused. We will all know in a weeks time.
If dtg postpone the release I'm going to drop my 9 year old off at their offices and they can deal with him!
Stream of SEHS and Cajon Pass is happening Thursday and my PS5 has TSW3 installed but time locked until Friday’s early access. Definitely don’t think there’s a delay.
Well I am all for it if a two week or even a months delay gives us the save game back, optimises performance and leads to an all round more polished product.
No disrespect to dtg but you could give them another 6 months and there's still likely to be some kind of problem with something. I got early access so my kids can play the weekend before going back to school.

Should be as always in the evening, I think it is 6 pm in the UK. I'm in germany so it was always around 7pm. Interesting note! So DTG what is about PC preload? Any Information please or do we have to make another thread for this?
Yes I agree with other posters 6pm, although a couple have happened at about 4pm in the past. Personally cannot see it being released, as I think there will be a postponement announcement soon.
Okay and what's youre argument for it?! Instead of writing such things without any clues or something....
Read my earlier post on the subject. Just an opinion, but feel that TSW3 will be as bug full as TSW2. I sincerely hope I am wrong. DTG have already admitted that there is no save option at the moment. Something they are still working on. Therefore I have only preordered for my xBox and will purchase the pc version sometime next year.
Okay yeah i understand but you have an opion based on something normaly... It brings nothing to spoiler your opion without any reason. Sad enough it confuse people... Normaly when i have an opion i give a clue from where i have a feeling... I can say it would be raining tomorrow... But i have only a clue if i have seen the tv or an app or newspaper... Without my opion is useless........
It would be nice to get a pre-load as not only have we got the new core and routes to come, but all the existing DLC needs to be downloaded by the sound of it. Even at the roughly 8Mb/s I get from Steam when things are going well, that's going to take a couple of hours. So ironically the first day of early access will actually be taken up just downloading and installing the thing.
I just worked out that if I start downloading at my Dad’s in the UK, where I’m currently on holiday, it will not complete before I have to fly home on Sunday! So I’ll wait until I’m home (Where it will probably only take 10 to 15 minutes). So I’m looking forward to some early access streams until I get home.
Not sure if it's a Steam throttle or BT Broadband so called "unlimited" service but 8Mb/s is the best I've ever managed.
OldVern Did you check the speed limit in the steam download settings? Mabey you have limited your download speed...
We wont be able to download DLC until Tuesday regardless. Annoyingly it seems the only way to get SoS as part of the early access is to purchase the deluxe pack. Is it just me who sees this as a kick in the teeth for those who already paid full price for it??
in a nutshell yes. I got bit by the flash sale on Sherman hill so I’m glad I refunded SOS. It’s a free bumper sticker on this pack as far as my own personal case sees it but yes I understand it’s crap if you entrusted DTG
Check your download region for UK theres 2 options Manchester & London, steam thinks Im closer to London yet in reality its 3 times further way and regardless Ive found Manchester much faster personally.
Thanks for the advice, I'll try the suggestions and see if I can't coax anoher Mb or two out of it. However as it seems only the new routes (though presumably including SEHS and SoS as I already own them) will be downloaded on the early access. The rest will be available Tuesday staggering the job a little bit.
Same here, personally I think its an insult that fans who purchased at full price have to wait longer then new customers. It leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. Especially considering I actually asked the question on a live stream and was told SoS would be available from early access if you already owned it and purchased the standard edition. No prizes on guessing who answered that!!
