In this post I am suggesting the route from tonbridge to Hastings with a branch to Bexhill West.
This thread isn't going to have alot of information like locos and dates but will give a rough insight.

The route would start at Tonbridge and head south through the county of east Sussex, the route goes via tunbridge Wells and through the distinct single track tunnels when eventually you arrive to the historic village of Battle. The village is very well known from the 1066 batle of Hastings and is home of the battleground. After battle is a couple of miles until you get to Crowhurst. At Crowhurst a branch line will diverge of and head towards Bexhill west station calling at Sidley and Bexhill west. The remainder of the route will travel via bopeep Junction where the line merges with the eastcoastway coming from Eastbourne direction and then head straight into a tunnel. Shortly you will arrive at st leonards warrior square which is distinct for the station being sandwiched between 2 tunnels. After st leonards you enter the final stretch towards Hastings.
