Try it out in Derail Valley The suggestion aims to teach or revise your skills when it comes to adding coal, feeding the boiler water and controlling the steam chest pressure that drives the train essentially as none of the existing tutorials touch base on any of them. The problem is that the steamer is not 100% there yet with that all. Basically you have juggle alot of things, put too much coal and you choke the steamer, so you have to gradually add it and let it combust. Water makes steam essentially which is the chest pressure that drives all the mechanisms. Too little and you come to a stop and too much, you overpressure the boiler, luckly there are saftey valves. The latest update did do a good job at combating the overpressuization issue.
