So, I posted a thread about the CW44AC being messed up, with me hearing brake squeaking sounds, stalling after 10 ft, n4+ to move on flat or even downhill, so on. I checked every handbrake on my train, no DPU's either. I cut in my brakes released them, too. This only happens in free roam, and I usually get up to around 1 MPH before idling up and stalling by succumbing to wheel slip. Does anyone know what his happening? This is only an issue with the AC44. I know I may be getting to be a nuisance, but I really do wish to use this thing. This wasn't a problem at the start of the game, only after I threw the train into emergency once on an intermodal. Do I need to reverse it the PTC or something? Please reply if you can if you know. Sincerely, your local village idiot, Craig
If a PCS application is the problem, you need to follow these steps: Auto brake handle in emergency position. Independent brake in full application. Reverser in neutral. Wait for one (real) minute. Set auto brake to release. Reverser to forward. Release the independent brake. You‘re ready to set off again.
Try turning on Distributed power that should do the trick ! And if you have helpers at the end of your consist turn on banking comms
