I've completed all the SPG timetable services before but I encountered this on my latest run. It was Q137 Intermodel - Baltimore to Chicago. The stop marker is normally on the station side of the red signal at Rockwood. This time it is on the far side and I can't reach it without running the red and failing the scenario. Tried the dispatcher but he just says to wait. I assume this is a bug of some sort? I made this run in three sittings so I saved twice, I don't know if that is relevant. DW
I remember encountering this issue before. In that case, there was a train on the other track. After a few minutes of waiting, the train started moving and once it was gone, the signal turned yellow, allowing me to reach the stop marker. Although I do see a lack of another freight train in your screenshot, so maybe it's something else.
There is another train stopped on the other track farther west heading in the opposite direction, it was also stopped at a red signal but it never moves. I loaded up the saved game again and let it run for an hour checking back periodically and the light never changed. Just hope this doesn't keep happening on future runs. DW
That must be it, my last run I saved and loaded several times trying to figure out some wheel slip issues and because my horn kept going silent. When I reached the end it Kobayashi Maru'd me again. To complete the scenario I must go forward, if I go forward I fail the scenario. Diabolical. Hopefully they will work on the savegame function and solve some of these issues. DW
