Hello! Can someone please explain what causes a stopped off path error? I've tried to research on the fourms and it says something is wrong with the go-to instructon, but my nodes are the exact same as others and they don't have this problem. What else could it be?
This can be a pain but try messing with the stop within, overlap settings and in the map view check where the train is going to stop, you can also check in 3d view and move the ribbon in the timetable. I believe the pathfinding is a bit weird.
Have you opened up the playback to see what's going on???? More often than not, it is the service proceeding your service that is causing the conflict, I would look there
I just ended up having to skip stops because of this. The game tends to start going haywire with them if I put to much pressure on the path finding.
So I remember what usually causes off path problems is the type of go-to condition it has. Do experiments with the different types.
And I always have the problem that my trains stop in front of a switch because the dispatcher don't feel like to set it correctly. The trains don't want to "drive open" the switch.
Dispatchers cannot control yard switches, if a train has entered a yard exit or yard it will not automatically control the junctions.
It's a switch in the middle of the track. Somehow he can't manage to set this 1 switch. I also set the switch to "Automatic" and not "Manual" (i.e. the switch drive).
According to the editor, the switch is selected correctly. The green dot in the track is also there. But I have no idea what this means. I've already replaced the switch drive twice, but it doesn't help.
Ignore the green dot it just means its linked, I would suggest deleting that section of track and relaying it down recreating the junction. And double check your signal routing too.
